The 2nd Taiyuan Biology Cup National College Student Green Innovation Contest Concludes

On October 13, the final of the 2nd Taiyuan Biology Cup National College Student Green and Low-Carbon Technology Innovation Contest was successfully held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Thirty teams from 13 universities across China competed, with a 22-member jury composed of environmental scholars, industry experts and corporate technical leaders conducting the final evaluation.

Following expert review, the contest awarded five outstanding poster prizes and 30 outstanding project awards, including two first prizes, six second prizes, ten third prizes and twelve excellence awards. The two first-prize teams came from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Nanjing University.

Themed Comprehensive Green Transformation, Jointly Building a Beautiful China, the contest was jointly organized by the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Taiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It featured two tracks and attracted 45 teams from 15 universities nationwide, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Nanjing University. The contest seeks to identify young innovative achievements in areas such as emerging pollutant control, green energy, resource recycling and AI applications for the environment.
