AICRO Completes Operation and Maintenance of Ultrapure Water System at the National Fiber Innovation Center
Recently, E-Chem's technical service team visited the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, to carry out comprehensive, standardized special maintenance work on the E-Chem ultrapure water system in use at the center. With professional operation and maintenance services, they ensured the stable operation of research equipment and laid a solid high-purity water quality foundation for advanced functional fiber R&D experiments.
The National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center is a national-level innovation and R&D platform in the fiber field, focusing on the R&D and industrialization of high-end functional fiber new materials, technologies, and processes. Scenarios such as functional fiber R&D, sample testing, and precision experiments place extremely high demands on water purity. The stability and cleanliness of ultrapure water directly affect the accuracy of experimental data and the reliability of R&D results, and the stable operation of the ultrapure water system is key infrastructure support for the orderly advancement of research work.
This maintenance work strictly followed industry operation and maintenance standards for ultrapure water equipment and equipment operating specifications, with the team's technicians performing refined inspection work across the entire process. During the service, staff thoroughly inspected the equipment's core power components such as the booster pump, high-pressure pump, and circulation pump, checked for potential issues such as abnormal noise, vibration, and water leakage, and precisely calibrated core operating parameters including inlet pressure, membrane module pressure, product water flow rate, and resistivity, ensuring all indicators remained within the standard operating range. Meanwhile, status checks were carried out on key consumables such as pretreatment filter cartridges, reverse osmosis membranes, EDI modules, and polishing resin; pipeline impurities were cleaned out, and the pipeline sealing and the operating status of the electrical control system were checked, comprehensively eliminating potential equipment operation risks.
In addition, taking into account the characteristics of high-frequency water use in research scenarios, the technical team optimized the equipment's operating parameters, standardized the daily start-up and shutdown, water quality monitoring, and consumables maintenance procedures, and explained on-site to the center's staff the key points of daily equipment inspection, troubleshooting methods for abnormal issues, and regular maintenance specifications, helping the customer establish a standardized equipment operation and maintenance system, effectively extending equipment service life, and ensuring the long-term stable production of high-purity experimental water.
The E-Chem laboratory ultrapure water system adopts a fully automatic water treatment system design. The system consists of pretreatment, reverse osmosis technology, ultrapurification treatment, and post-treatment as its main processes. It features a high degree of automation, high system stability, and high water utilization, greatly saving labor and maintenance costs while operating reliably. All equipment water tanks are equipped with liquid level control systems, all pumps have pressure protection devices, and online water quality monitoring and control instruments provide higher cost-effectiveness and reliability. The system's water production capacity can be customized according to customer needs, meeting laboratory purified water/ultrapure water requirements.
