Let Data "Treat Pollution" and Algorithms "Reduce Carbon"

Recently, results were announced for two major competitions in the data element field — the Third Prize of the 2026 "Data Element ×" Competition Tianjin Division and the 2026 China Information Association Data Element Application Innovation Competition. Projects submitted by Capital Eco-Environmental Protection Group won Third Prizes in both, thanks to their innovative practices in the digitalization of the environmental protection industry.

The 2026 "Data Element ×" Competition Tianjin Division was organized and implemented by the Tianjin Municipal Data Bureau. Under the theme "Data Empowerment, Multiplicative Growth," it featured 18 major tracks and brought together a hundred outstanding teams from across the city to compete, focusing on uncovering practical cases of data element implementation across industries. Capital Eco-Environmental Protection Group's submitted project, the "Omni-Domain Multi-Source Data Fusion Circular Digital Management and Control Platform," was grounded in the green and low-carbon track, conducting digital exploration of business scenarios in the environmental protection industry, and earned recognition from the judges.

The 2026 China Information Association Data Element Application Innovation Competition, held concurrently and organized by the China Information Association, is a professional national competition in the data element field. It collected over a thousand innovative practice results from across society, focusing on discovering outstanding cases of data elements empowering all industries and supporting the development of Digital China. The project submitted to this competition, the "'Electricity-Carbon' Intelligent Closed-Loop Management and Control System for the Environmental Protection Industry under Omni-Domain Multi-Source Data Fusion," shares the same foundation and direction as the Tianjin Division entry. Through differentiated iteration and refinement aligned with the competition's evaluation orientation, it stood out from numerous national entries to win an award.

Both projects are built on Capital Eco-Environmental Protection Group's IoT and data platform infrastructure, connecting multi-source business data across the environmental protection field and directly addressing prominent industry pain points such as insufficient carbon accounting accuracy and weak coordinated management and control. Leveraging electricity-carbon correlation algorithms and multi-dimensional data fusion, they build data-driven circular management and control capabilities for the environmental protection industry, effectively driving the Group's business management transformation from experience-driven to data-driven, while providing a referenceable practical path for digital carbon reduction in the environmental protection industry.

The honors from these authoritative competitions fully demonstrate the effectiveness of Capital Eco-Environmental Protection Group's practice of empowering its core business with data elements, and represent dual recognition of the company's digital-intelligent innovation capabilities and its "dual carbon" management transformation. Going forward, Capital Eco-Environmental Protection Group will continue to promote the deep integration of data elements with its main business, fully release the value of data elements, deliver standardized digital technology services, and empower the green, low-carbon, high-quality development of the environmental protection industry.
