The Guangxi Laibin Zero-Discharge Surface Treatment Industrial Park has officially opened for investment. Anchored by the Pan-Aluminium Advanced Manufacturing (Laibin) Base, its zero-discharge centre runs six treatment units — collection, reaction, filter press, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis and evaporation — enabling zero liquid discharge of production wastewater, and is open to aluminium processing, automotive parts and electronics manufacturers.

According to the Laibin City Industrial Park Management Committee, the Guangxi Laibin Zero-Discharge Surface Treatment Industrial Park has officially opened for investment. As a key supporting project for Laibin's drive to build a hundred-billion-yuan aluminium deep-processing cluster, the park is anchored by the Pan-Aluminium Advanced Manufacturing (Laibin) Base and is open to companies in aluminium processing, automotive parts and electronics manufacturing that require surface treatment processes.

The park's core facility — the zero-discharge surface treatment centre — adopts a fully intelligent environmental treatment system with plant-wide visual closed-loop management. It comprises six treatment units: collection, reaction, filter press, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis and evaporation, allowing production wastewater to reach zero liquid discharge. Tenants that route their wastewater into the centralised facility can significantly shorten approval cycles and cut both the time and capital cost of building their own treatment assets.

The centre covers the full range of surface treatment processes, including:

  • Blackening, electroless nickel, phosphating, pickling, passivation, anodising and vacuum coating;
  • Full-category electroplating covering copper, zinc, nickel, gold, silver, hard chromium, PCB electronic plating, ABS plastic plating and cyanide-containing plating.

On the space side, the park offers multi-storey standard workshops, single-storey production workshops and customised dedicated facilities of various specifications, equipped with freight lifts to accommodate companies of different scales and processes. Office buildings, canteens and staff dormitories are already in place.

With the Pinglu Canal entering operation, inland cargo shipping costs in the region are set to fall further. The park targets a one-hour economic circle reaching Liuzhou's industrial zone to serve automotive and construction-machinery manufacturers, and a two-hour circle covering Nanning and Yulin industrial belts to serve regional electronics plating demand.

The operator has also rolled out a six-dimension service system spanning living, financial, human-resource, technical, government-affairs and material services, compressing the entire chain from application to commissioning into seven coordination steps supported by dedicated account managers.
