Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of the Global Environmental Industry Supply-Demand (the "Platform"). By registering, submitting an inquiry, posting content or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

The Platform is a B2B information portal and matchmaking service for the industrial water treatment industry, offering a product catalogue, company directory, tender information, industry content, supply/demand posts and inquiry relaying.

Except for the explicitly labelled escrow payment feature, the Platform provides information matchmaking only: transactions are concluded and performed solely between the parties. The Platform is not a party to any transaction and does not warrant the quality, delivery or payment of any goods or services (see Section 6 for escrow).

3. Accounts

Register with truthful and accurate information and keep it up to date; multiple principal accounts per natural person or company are not allowed;

Safeguard your credentials — actions taken under your account are deemed yours; notify us immediately of any unauthorised use;

Company verification and company claiming require genuine licence documents. Verification obtained through forged documents will be revoked and the account may be restricted.

4. Acceptable Use

Do not post false supply/demand information, impersonate others, inflate metrics or otherwise disrupt the Platform, or use it for any unlawful activity;

Do not scrape, copy or resell Platform data or content without permission;

Do not circumvent the Platform's safeguards or paid mechanisms (e.g. luring counterparties into unprotected off-platform deals);

We may reject or remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that violate these rules, preserving evidence where appropriate.

5. Content and Licence

Content you post (reviews, market posts, product information) must be content you own or are licensed to use;

You grant the Platform a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and distribute that content as necessary to provide and promote the service (ownership remains with you);

User content is subject to pre- or post-publication moderation; the Platform may reject or remove any content under its moderation rules. Content speaks for its author, not for the Platform.

6. Transactions and Escrow

Payments made through the Platform's escrow feature are handled as: buyer pays → seller ships → buyer confirms (or auto-confirms after the stated window) → funds released. Disputes raised by the buyer are decided by the Platform for release to the seller or refund to the buyer;

Timelines (e.g. the auto-confirmation window) are as displayed on the order page;

Outside escrow, the Platform neither participates in nor guarantees any off-platform payment. Do not bypass escrow with direct transfers; losses from doing so are yours.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, copy, logos and overall content are protected by intellectual property law and may not be copied or commercialised without written permission;

Third-party content (e.g. cited industry news) remains the property of its authors; reposted items are attributed. If you believe Platform content infringes your rights, contact us via the page footer and we will verify and act promptly.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Company information, product specifications and tender data on the Platform come from company submissions, public sources or AI-assisted compilation followed by review; we strive for accuracy but do not warrant completeness — verify independently before material procurement decisions;

We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by force majeure, network failures or third-party outages;

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the service fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months (or RMB 100 if none).

9. Changes, Suspension and Termination

We may change or discontinue parts of the service; you may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy);

For material breaches we may restrict or terminate your access and pursue available remedies.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the place where the Platform operator is domiciled. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly consultation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the competent court at the operator's domicile.
