China MCC5 Consortium Wins EPC Bid for Jiangbei Industrial Park WWTP Water Quality Upgrade at About RMB 30.04 Million

A consortium of China MCC5 Group, Zhejiang Jinmo Environmental Technology and the Central and Southern China Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute won the EPC bid for the Jiangbei Industrial Park wastewater treatment plant water quality upgrade project at RMB 30,042,813.86. Works include a new HMF plus RO dual-membrane system treating 10,000 m3/d and a 5,000 m3/d Fenton concentrate treatment train.
The Hubei provincial electronic tendering and bidding platform has published the winning bid for the Jiangbei Industrial Park wastewater treatment plant water quality upgrade EPC project. A consortium of China MCC5 Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jinmo Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and the Central and Southern China Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute won at RMB 30,042,813.86.
The project is located in Jiangbei Industrial Park, Xiaochi Binjiang New District, Huangmei County, Hubei Province. Main works include:
- A new HMF plus RO dual-membrane system with 10,000 m3/d industrial wastewater capacity, producing 5,000 m3/d of permeate at RO recovery of not less than 50 percent, with civil works built in a single phase and equipment installed in one pass;
- A new 5,000 m3/d Fenton concentrate treatment system using pH adjustment, Fenton oxidation, neutralisation and degassing, followed by coagulation and sedimentation;
- Three new structures: a water reuse workshop of about 2,200 m2 housing the HMF plus RO train, an intermediate tank with lift pump station and a dosing room; a Fenton oxidation system including tank farm; and a Fenton sedimentation tank of about 450 m2;
- Ancillary plant piping, power supply and distribution, instrumentation and automation, fire protection, ventilation, roads and landscaping.
Total land use is about 4,865.65 m2, on land reserved for phase II of the plant.
