Scope of works
A new wastewater treatment plant will be built, comprising pretreatment, biological treatment, advanced treatment, disinfection and metering, deodorisation and sludge treatment units, together with associated buildings and supporting facilities.
For the drainage pipeline, the design start point is beside the road east of the industrial park fire station, receiving upstream flows. The pipeline runs broadly north to south, passes beneath the Puhua railway, continues eastwards and terminates at the existing 2,400 mm drainage pipe, ultimately discharging into the Luo River. The project relies on the phase 1 collection and discharge network and only adds new connecting pipes.
The same batch of notices also covers a livestock fattening farm project in Pucheng County. Public participation for both projects was conducted through website postings, public notices and newspaper announcements, with survey results showing no objections from respondents.
