About

Built and operated by Nantong Lüdiao Centralised Electroplating Technology Co., Ltd. with the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences (MEE) as technology partner, in the Suxitong Science and Technology Industrial Park, Nantong, Jiangsu. The project is the core infrastructure of an electroplating and spray-coating “dual green island” park with RMB 1 billion of total investment, developed since 2022 from a former furniture park. A 2,000 m³/d zero-discharge demonstration plant has been completed: the park has no industrial wastewater outlet and treated water is recirculated. The system uses standardised pre-treatment, membrane separation and evaporation-crystallisation modules prefabricated off site, cutting construction time to about six months versus 12–18 months conventionally, with sensors reporting twelve key parameters to the park control centre and environmental regulators. The technology passed expert appraisal by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences on 12 September 2025, rated internationally advanced. Sources: CNR Jiangsu (25 Oct 2025); Nantong Fabu.
