- BTA International's (Germany) BTA® process combines hydraulic pretreatment (crushing/pulping, removal of plastics/metals/sand) with wet anaerobic digestion; the digester uses biogas internal circulation injection for uniform mixing without moving parts, typical dry matter 6–12%; since the first biowaste plant in 1991, over 40 plants have been built worldwide, producing over 110 million Nm³ of biogas annually, suitable for kitchen waste, food waste, commercial and municipal organic waste.
